Mind-Body Connection

Health is only possible when we are physically and emotionally healthy and balanced. This mind-body balance is possible through the application of several healing and therapeutic techniques that have been practiced by Ayurveda and Yoga in India for 5,000 years.

According to Ayurvedic treatment theory, good health is achieved when our mind, body, and spirit are in harmony with the universe. A disruption of this harmony can lead to poor health and sickness.

InnerWellbeing works in partnership with Prakash Deep Institute of Ayurvedic and Yogic Sciences (PDI) in India to bring clients a variety of retreats, workshops and events that will not only contribute to their health and well-being but have the potential to transform their lives by shifting their perspectives and behavior.

How Can You Transform Your Life?

Getting out of our comfort zone, leaving our daily routines behind, trying to understand other cultures, tolerating challenging situations, are essential experiences for a human being to thrive and grow. We don't thrive by avoiding pain and challenges, we thrive by expanding ourselves and opening up to new experiences and perspectives.

Imagine being in an environment where you can go away and put yourself in the hands of professionals that can help you make a shift in your mind, body, consciousness, and personality?

All of this is possible with the power of changing our environment and being surrounded by a team of caring professionals with the proper therapeutic tools to facilitate that change in our mind and body that we so much desire. Such an experience can be highly therapeutic and life changing.

Are You Ready to Transform Yourself?

After a couple of visits to PDI, our Founder and Director, Claudia Carballal, witnessed firsthand the healing power of different treatments and techniques applied by Ayurvedic Practitioners and Yoga Teachers in India.

After taking a basic Ayurveda course in Dallas, Texas, Claudia wanted to expand her knowledge of Ayurveda and Yoga in India. On her fist visit to PDI Rishikesh during the summer of 2018, she took an Ayurveda Basic Learning course certification where she had the opportunity to learn directly from three different Ayurvedic Doctors as well as practice the preparation and application of some basic Ayurvedic remedies.

During her second visit on December of 2018, Claudia did an internship at PDI Goa, where she was able to expand her practical knowledge of Ayurveda healing techniques like Panchakarma therapy designed to facilitate the removal of deep rooted stresses and impurities in the physiology, including Nasya, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda, and Lepa treatments.

Claudia's direct experience preparing and applying these healing and detoxifying procedures to clients opened her eyes to a new healing platform for her clients' physical and mental well-being, enhancing her understanding of the mind-body connection. After treatments, clients reported feeling more relaxed, balanced, mentally and physically refreshed, ready to take on the world with a new perspective. Clients need to be open to change for these techniques to work properly.

The positive results that clients experience during our retreats are possible not only because of the Ayurvedic treatments themselves but also because of the nurturing and safe environment that the team of Ayurvedic practitioners provides. During consultations and treatment, clients are able to express their feelings, discuss health issues, mental concerns, and current or past life challenges.

Our therapies use a holistic approach, where each client is seeing as a unique individual full or potential for healing and growth. Unlike western medicine, Ayurveda only uses natural plants, herbs, and oils to treat different diseases and to maintain good health and balance where there is absence of a disease. These natural remedies have been effectively used in India for thousands of years with little or no side effects, depending on the person.

Claudia works with PDI in India as an Ayurvedic Counselor, Life Coach, and Yoga Teacher. You can contact Claudia at or at (214) 663-1591.
