ANSWER

The purpose of life is the evolution of humanity through the awakening of our spiritual energy. The spiritual energy, also called Brahma-Shakti in eastern traditions, or consciousness, resides in every human being and connects us to universal consciousness. It is the essence, space, or field that creates everything and holds everything together. We all have this spiritual energy within, therefore, every human being is destined to find or rediscover this spiritual energy in their evolution, also called Self-realization. The question is not whether we will find Self-realization but when we will find it. In other words, it is our responsibility as human beings to discover our true Self and awaken this sleeping spiritual energy. Not assuming responsibility for the evolution of our soul, which is the best way to serve humanity, is a way of avoiding spiritual responsibility.
