CLAUDIA CARBALLAL

Claudia Carballal, founder of InnerWellbeing, is a proffesional counselor, yogic practitioner, guide and coach in the fields of Yoga Psychology and Yogic Spirituality. She is a proponent of Yoga Psychology and Vedic Counseling for emotional healing, freedom from mental pain and suffering, and spiritual growth and awakening. Her work combines Western psychology and Eastern wisdom teachings and it covers a variety of topics including Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda, Psychology, and Mental Health.

In 2022, Claudia obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently works with a local agency in the US serving individuals who have experienced human rights violations, domestic abuse. In 2008, Claudia earned a Master's degree in International Law and Human Rights from SMU Dedman School of Law. Since 2011, she has focused on aspects of mental health and emotional wellness collaborating with non-governmental organizations (NGOs). For more than 20 years, Claudia worked in the field of human rights and international law advocating for human dignity and freedom, diversity, and social work for immigrants, refugees, and individuals around the world. She works with survivors of war, political and religious persecution, crime, domestic violence, emotional trauma, and childhood adverse experiences.

Claudia has pursued formal training and classical studies in Yoga, Ayurveda, Eastern Philosophy, Hinduism, Meditation, and various healing modalities in India and the United States of America. She obtained certifications as a Yoga teacher and Ayurveda counselor and lifestyle coach.
